The Ansbach Adult Education Centre offers a colourful catalogue of language courses, which is revised every six months, as well as courses on the topics of ‘Job & Career’, ‘Society & Life’, ‘Health & Nutrition’, ‘Culture & Creativity’ and also a ‘Young VHS’. The university works in particular with the VHS on language courses.

Ansbach is one of the smallest towns to have its own ensemble theatre, the Stadttheater. In addition to renowned plays, it also hosts concerts and cinema events as well as sermons and puppet theatre. In contrast, the Kopfüber theatre, with its three stages and high artistic standard, has a rather unconventional repertoire.
