Opening hours

Opening hours during the semester break (July 28 - September 30, 2025)

Staffed hours with full service:
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Exceptions:
- On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the library will only be open with full service from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.; from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 12 midnight on this day the library will be open without staff.
- On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the library will only be open with full service from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.; from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 12 midnight on this day the library will be open without staff.
Unstaffed hours
- The library is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight in addition to the staffed opening hours.
- A CampusCard activated for this purpose is required to use the unstaffed opening hours.

Opening hours in winter semester (October 1 - December 23, 2025)

Staffed hours with full service:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Unstaffed hours
The library is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight in addition to the staffed opening hours.
The CampusCard must be activated to use the staff-free opening hours.
Please note that the library is also closed on public holidays.
(Short-term) changes are possible.

Closure during the Christmas period (December 23, 2025, 1 p.m. to January 6, 2026)

On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the library will close completely at 1 p.m. There will be no unstaffed opening, and the return machine will also be unavailable from this time.
The library will be completely closed from December 23, 2025, 1 p.m., through January 6, 2026.

Opening hours in winter semester (January 7 – February 13, 2026

Staffed hours with full service:
Monday, Friday: 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Tuesday-Thursday: 9.30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Unstaffed hours
The library is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight in addition to the staffed opening hours.
The CampusCard must be activated to use the staff-free opening hours.

Change of opening hours (public holidays)

Opening hours may be changed for special reasons. Information will be given as early as possible here and at the entrance door to the library.
