In the Electrical Power Engineering Laboratory, the focus is on understanding the electrical power supply chain from energy conversion through the electrical power supply network to the motor consumer. In addition, students learn the basic principles of drive control. At the test benches, students work in small groups on various electrical machines, network models and programs for network calculation. During the laboratory training the theoretical knowledge is applied practically and the understanding of the matter is deepened.
