Opening hours

Opening hours in summer semester (March 16-July 31, 2026)

• Staffed opening hours 
  • Monday and Friday: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday–Thursday: 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Unstaffed opening hours: The library is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight in addition to the staffed opening hours.
  A CampusCard activated for this purpose is required to use the unstaffed opening hours.

Exception:
On Friday, July 24, 2026, the library will close completely at 12:45 p.m. due to the “Ansbach Open” event on campus; there will be no unstaffed opening. 

The library is closed on public holidays.

Weekend opening during the exam period (July 4-July 19, 2026)
Unstaffed opening from 10 a.m. to midnight
A CampusCard activated for this purpose is required to use the unstaffed opening hours.

Opening hours may be changed for special reasons. Information will be given as early as possible here and at the entrance door to the library.
