About us

We regard professional development at an academic level as one of our core topics. The School of Business and Technology (SBT) was set up for this purpose, which bundles the part-time continuing education courses offered by Ansbach University under one roof. As a provider of various new formats, we want to be a partner to regional companies.

In order to ensure quality assurance in scientific continuing education, Ansbach University is an institutional member of the German Society for Scientific Continuing Education and Distance Learning (DGWF), a European association with over 325 institutional and personal members from universities and continuing education institutions.

Scientific continuing education should help learners to solve their challenges in their professional environment. In the context of lifelong learning it serves the development of the own potential, the safety device of the job and the vocational career besides.

Both sides profit directly from the extra-occupational design: companies can thus enable their employees to develop their skills in a well-founded way and thus retain skilled workers. Students have the opportunity to reconcile their workplace and academic training.
