The Mechanical Process Engineering Laboratory deals with particle measurement technology. Particle measurement technology is used, for example, in environmental technology (activated carbons), the building materials industry (concrete aggregates), plastics processing (pigments) or the food industry (cocoa and milk powder, icing sugar). In the practical course, students learn how to handle particle measuring instruments (practical devices) and deepen the knowledge gained from the lecture.
