Ansbach University of Applied Sciences combines continuing education and study programmes in Total Productive Management and Lean Management at its Herrieden campus.
The CETPM is an institute of Ansbach University of Applied Sciences which is committed to spreading the TPM and Lean philosophy. Employees from companies and organizations are trained to be able to independently drive forward operational improvements. CETPM audits companies with regard to their Operational Excellence maturity level and offers a network for the exchange of experience.
The training factory is a model production plant with real machines and real products, in which principles and tools from the area of Operational Excellence are taught. The main feature of the training factory is the intensive combination of theory and practice which is applied during the training measures.
Analogous to the training factory, the most important approaches and methods for achieving Operational Excellence in the administrative area (Office Excellence) are taught in the training office. In a real office environment, a complete order processing procedure of a company is depicted, from the customer's order to the dispatch of the goods and the invoice. Participants apply their theoretical knowledge to this exemplary business process. The learning objective is to recognize losses and waste in administrative areas and to eliminate them sustainably. Due to the realistic environment, an exceptionally high level of learning is also achieved in the training office.
