Counselling Services

 

The General Student Advisory Service will be happy to assist you with questions about studying. Simply make an appointment by telephone on 0981/4877-574 or by e-mail: studienberatung(at)hs-ansbach.de! We offer telephone and personal consultations as well as video consultations using the "Zoom" software. Please note our data protection information for the latter.

If you have detailed questions about individual courses of study, please contact the student advisory service. The subject advisors are primarily professors of your degree programme, who can help you with questions about the course of studies and answer questions about the content of the respective degree programme. You will find the names of the respective advisors in the table on the respective course page.

If you have any questions about studying with a child, compatibility of studies and family, equal opportunities and diversity such as studying with a handicap, please contact our office set up for this purpose. Information and contact details can be found here.

You are faced with the decision of whether to complete your studies or an apprenticeship?
Perhaps it would be better to work with a subsequent professional training?
You are dissatisfied with your study situation and it attracts you into a practical activity. You want to find out what suits you best?

The consultation is carried out by Mr. Thomas Englhart and is part of a project of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labour and Social Affairs.

It is aimed at students of the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences who want to or have to terminate their studies. It supports and accompanies them on their way to vocational training or the job market.

Mr. Englhart, Coach for university dropouts, you reach always on Thursday from 9.15 o'clock to 12 o'clock in room 53.1.7.

The personal consultation can take place either on site, by telephone or via video conference. Please make an appointment by phone or e-mail directly with Mr. Englhart. When meeting on site, please observe the applicable hygiene measures.

This is where students can turn if they suffer from exam nerves, learning and performance difficulties, lack of drive, fears, suicidal thoughts, difficulties with friends, partners, parents, etc. or other stresses.

Appointments can be made by appointment or during the open consultation hours (on Friday 11:00 - 12:00), currently only by telephone.

    on Friday from 8:00 - 12:30 o'clock and 13:00 - 16:30 o'clock
    on Tuesday from 8:00 - 12:00 on the following days: 20.10. / 10.11. / 24.11. / 15.12.

The careers advisors at the Ansbach Employment Agency will be happy to advise you once a month, e.g. on the subject of doubts about your studies, etc. at the Campus Center.
