Opening hours

Opening hours in winter semester (October 1, 2024-  February 14, 2025)

• Staffed hours with full service:
  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9.00-17.00
  Tuesday: 9.45-17.00
  Friday: 8.00-13.00
• Unstaffed hours: The library is accessible beyond the staffed hours Mo - Fri 8:00 a.m. – 12 midnight. The CampusCard must be activated to use the staff-free opening hours
• On December 20, 2024, the library will close at 13.00 (the return machine will also no longer be accessible from this time) and will remain completely closed until January 6, 2025, there will also be no unstaffed opening.

The campus card needs to be activated to use the unstaffed hours. If the conditions for staff-free opening are violated, access will be revoked. External library users can also apply for access to the staff-free opening hours.

Outside staffed hours with full service, the library is open without staff, i.e. an extra CampusCard is required to enter the library. The reading room can be used during the opening hours of the library. Media can be borrowed and returned at the corresponding vending machines. Media that have been reserved or ordered via interlibrary loan cannot be collected, nor can user passes be applied for or fees paid during this period.

Opening hours may be changed for special reasons. Information will be given as early as possible here and at the entrance door to the library.
