The district of Ansbach is the largest district in Bavaria and consists of 58 municipalities, including district towns such as Dinkelsbühl and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The town of Ansbach stands for the support of young families and has a lot to offer as a cultural and recreational location, for example with its theatre, the Kammerspiele and the Aquella swimming pool. Ansbach is also part of the Nuremberg metropolitan region.
The city of Ansbach has many historical sights and is located on the Castle Road as well as the Franconian Heights Nature Park. The town is also home to Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, the Brücken-Center retail centre and a large number of medium-sized companies.
