Declaration on data protection and data security of 14 May 2018
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis and for purposes such as registering for events or making contact with Ansbach University of Applied Sciences and its affiliated branch offices. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent and will be stored for a maximum of six months after collection or until you request deletion of the data. If you also use concrete offers from us, such as registration for the newsletter (continuing education), your data will be stored for a longer period of time. You will be informed about the respective modalities when your data is collected.
According to the data protection basic regulation you are entitled to the following rights:
a) If your personal data are processed, you have the right to obtain information about the data stored about your person (Art. 15 DSGVO).
b) Should incorrect personal data be processed, you have the right to correction (Art. 16 DSGVO).
c) If the legal requirements are met, you can request the deletion or restriction of the processing and lodge an objection against the processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 DSGVO).
d) If you have consented to data processing or a data processing agreement exists and data processing is carried out using automated procedures, you may be entitled to data transferability (Art. 20 DSGVO).
e) If you make use of the above-mentioned rights, the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences will check whether the legal requirements for this have been met.
f) There is also a right of appeal to the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision.
If you have consented to the processing by Ansbach University of Applied Sciences by means of a corresponding declaration, you can revoke your consent at any time for the future, Art. 21 DSGVO. This does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.
