This phrase is the perfect way to describe the aim or intention being pursued at the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences in the field of language training:

Learning foreign languages
Linguistic qualifications in accordance with internationally recognised standards
Communication including intercultural aspects

The Language Centre of the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences is a multidisciplinary institution which is open to students from all faculties, but guest students and companies in the region can also benefit from the constantly expanding range of courses for language training through continuing education events.

In addition to the pure learning of different languages, the Language Centre also offers the possibility of having language skills certified according to international standards.

The language courses are complemented by courses which focus on inter-cultural themes. Students learn how to find their way in foreign cultural matters and to incorporate the multicultural perspectives gained into their economic activities.

We are situated in building 50 in the west wing; the language laboratory of Ansbach University of Applied Sciences is on the 2nd floor (room 50.2.2), the staff of the Language Centre on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.

DAAD - Language certificate

To study at a partner university, you normally need the DAAD language certificate, which confirms your knowledge of the foreign language.

Please fill in the form (German) and contact Ms Göller-Davis.

LCCI

The LCCI certificate "English for Business" is a practice-oriented test of communication skills in the business world. Many universities in Great Britain and worldwide accept an EFB certificate at level 3 as an admission requirement. Depending on interest, we offer Level 2 or Level 3.
