    Find practice partners

Basically, Ansbach University of Applied Sciences offers cooperative study options with any company that fulfils the entry requirements. These can be found under "For companies".

We recommend all prospective students who are looking for a practice partner / company to visit our university job exchange.

You can also find potential companies via our university networking fair as well as at the website of hochschule dual.

    For companies

    Cooperative study options in companies

The entry requirements for cooperative study options are easy to meet for companies of all sizes:

    • Company provides an apprenticeship / internship; the cooperation between a student / trainee and the company is contractually regulated
    • Company guarantees a comprehensive quality of the practical training, which is technically oriented towards the later professional activity
    • Company provides a contact person / mentor in the company who accompanies or coaches the students during the practical phases. This person is also in contact with the university and ideally knows about the study and examination plan.

How does a company become a practice partner?

    • Company selects applicants (the entry requirements have to be considered: university entrance qualification, n.c., if necessary)
    • Company makes an apprenticeship / internship contract with the chosen candidates (model contracts available from IHK / HWK or hochschule dual)
    • The guidelines for the practical semester must be observed: Practical study semester
    • The chosen candidates apply to Ansbach University of Applied Sciences together with the apprenticeship / internship contract either approx. 12 months before the start of their studies (academic studies with vocational training) or in the year of the planned start of the studies (academic studies with in-company training)
    • Application at Ansbach UAS: The candidates hand in a copy of the apprenticeship / internship contract together with the application documents as well as the letter of admission from the previous year, if necessary

    Advantages for your company:

    • Early securing of highly qualified, motivated junior staff
    • Productive and responsible work of the young people in the company during their studies: no training after graduation necessary
    • Imparting important key skills to students in practice
    • Comprehensive introductory phase – there is enough time to find out how the future graduates can best be employed
    • Strong ties between the students or graduates and your company
    • Dual study graduates usually gain three times (academic studies with vocational training) or twice (academic studies with in-company training) as much practical and company experience as conventional graduates with the same university education
    • Intensive contacts between companies and universities, deepening the transfer of technology and knowledge
    • Academic studies with vocational training: The double degree also means no more losing good trainees to later studies – the study programme with integrated vocational training attracts motivated young people and the company retains its own trainees
    • Academic studies with in-company training in the Bachelor‘s degree programmes: Also suitable for junior staff who have already completed their vocational training and who would like to complete a degree so that they stay in the company
    • Academic studies with in-company training in the Master‘s degree programmes: Suitable for both internal dual graduates with Bachelor‘s degree (the trainees remain in the company) and for regular graduates with Bachelor‘s degree
