Several experimental setups are available for the practical training of students in the process control engineering module. The students work on the experiments in small groups and learn basic concepts and interrelationships of control engineering by means of level, flow, pressure and temperature control. They take part in basic exercises on programmable logic controllers on applications such as a mixing plant or a material handling process. The aim of the practical exercises is to deepen the basic knowledge conveyed in the seminar lessons.
