The Raw Materials and Environmental Measurement/Incineration Technology Laboratory investigates the acquisition and assessment of important parameters in water, wastewater, soil and air (e.g. determination of free fatty acids in biogas samples). Students learn to understand chemical processes for applications in the field of energy and industrial raw materials, as well as the environmentally relevant connections from their use, focusing on analysis. Plasma technology is used for the resource-saving modification of material surfaces. In the practical course, the knowledge acquired in the seminar lessons is vividly deepened through application-oriented experiments.
