International with the Bachelor of Arts in International Management

Nowadays international competence is demanded more than ever. We have incorporated an international focus into the program via the following components:

  • Language Competence:
With English being the primary language in international business, the students are prepared for the internationally recognized language test TOEIC. Based on this basic competence their English will be developed further in the lectures. Whereas in the first semesters lectures are solely offered in German, the proportion of lectures held in English gradually increases in the upper semesters. Hence, the vocabulary in business English is effectively enlarged.
  • Courses with explicit international content:
Lectures such as international business, international marketing, intercultural communication, international accounting standards…impart the knowledge required in the management of international companies.
  • Attending lectures given by foreign professors:
Students of the University of Applied Sciences Ansbach can attend lectures in Ansbach that are held by visiting faculty from abroad.
  • Networking with foreign students at the HS Ansbach:
Students from many different nations study at the University of Applied Sciences Ansbach. During the so-called “block week” the top athletes have the opportunity to attend block courses visited by their foreign fellow-students. Thus, the opportunity of networking arises.
  • Networking with internationally acting companies:
By means of company lectures, company visits or the yearly organized university recruiting fair the students are provided the chance to establish contacts.
