The IT service portal is an independent website. As a student or employee, you can use it to access applications and services that are available to you as a member of the university. The site is organised into different role-controlled areas.

Note for students: Please note that access is only possible as an active student (i.e. not exmatriculated).
IT-Service is particularly proud of the CampusCard. Initiated, planned and realised in 2008, the CampusCard is the result of the philosophy of integrated information processing practised by IT-Service. Various areas were transparently combined here via a low-frequency and a high-frequency chip as well as via a switching network in the background. The result is a wealth of functions:

At the Service Point, our students receive
The IT Service is regularly looking for student assistants to provide support. Details can be found in the IT Service Portal at the appropriate time (usually shortly before the start of the semester).
For our new students and employees, IT Services offers a 25-minute video ‘Introduction to IT Services’. This screencast introduces the IT services and shows how they can be used to benefit your studies or your work.
Once your account has been activated at the start of the semester (by 1 October or 15 March at the latest), you can view these in the protected area of the IT service portal under the menu item ‘IT support -> IT know-how -> ITS media library’.

We want to keep the IT at the university up to date and provide employees and students with modern IT services. However, this also means that we have to regularly patch, install software updates and put new services into operation. Unfortunately, this usually means taking the relevant systems offline. In order to keep operations running as smoothly as possible, the ICT committee has therefore agreed to schedule this work for defined time windows.
Maintenance work on the data centre's IT systems therefore takes place every Friday afternoon.
This time slot is intended to ensure that teaching and administrative operations are disrupted as little as possible. Should complications arise, Saturday and Sunday provide a sufficiently large buffer.
