De-registration can be executed by law, applied for or official.

You can apply for de-registration at any time. De-registration must be applied for in writing. You must fill in the appropriate form Please state your reason for de-registration. 

A retrospective de-registration is not possible. You can only de-register from the day the application is received by our university.

It is also possible for a student to be expelled from our university. This can take place when:

  1. a student has willingly caused excessive damage to Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, be it material or immaterial,
  2. the house rules have repeatedly been violated,
  3. a member of the university has been deterred from exercising his or her rights or obligations,
  4. the rules of the library of Ansbach University of Applied Sciences have repeatedly been violated,
  5. the users rules of the computer centre of Ansbach University of Applied Sciences have repeatedly been violated.

In especially serious cases even the attempt to cause the damages stated above can be a reason for expulsion. Such decisions are reached by the University’s directorate. The student involved will be given the opportunity of being heard before the decision is final.

If a student is expelled the CampusCard must be returned to Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.

Student Services is responsible for the completing de-registration.
