- You may only take books home with you by showing your membership card
- As a rule only 30 media items (books) may be borrowed
- The loan period of books is usually 28 business days. A renewal of the loan period is possible twice for another 28 business days each as long as no other user has reserved this book. Please consider renewing books 2 - 3 days before expiration of the loan period. This gives you the opportunity to return a non-renewable book in time, without resulting fine.
- Important reference works and one copy of a work from the textbook collection are available at any time as reference holdings. However an overnight loan is possible.
- Magazines, newspapers and loose-leaf publications may not be checked out under any circumstances.
- In case of failure to meet the loan period deadline the library is obliged to enforce the follwing fine structure for overdue notices:
1. recall Euro 7,50
2. recall Euro 10,--
3. demand for immediate return Euro 20,-- (plus expenses)
4. arrangement for immediate enforcement and exclusion from usage Euro 50,-- (plus expenses)
